Today, we are thrilled to present one of our latest achievements for General Cigar Co. – the Cohiba Humidor featuring an innovative Biometric Fingerprint Scanner.
Our collaboration on this project began with a unique challenge: to design a humidor with a cutting-edge biometric lock for heightened security. The result is a limited edition humidor with a top-notch biometric lock, where a specific fingerprint serves as the exclusive key to unlock six swinging drawers (plus one large drawer at the bottom).
Crafted from wood, the humidor features a high-quality piano finish, while its exterior proudly displays the iconic black and red color scheme synonymous with the non-Cuban Cohiba brand.
Each humidor produced comes complete with a carefully curated selection of 106 cigars in various sizes, including notable varieties such as Cohiba XV Toro, Cohiba Spectre (2018), Cohiba Spectre CS19, Cohiba Spectre 2021, Cohiba Edición Diamente Toro, Cohiba Royale Toro, Cohiba Silencio Toro, and Cohiba Red Dot Reserve Toro.
Sean Williams, Cohiba's brand ambassador, emphasized the significance of the Biometric Humidor, stating, “The humidor and the cigars within pay homage to the art of cigar making and assert Cohiba’s position as an alchemist of craftsmanship, style, and extravagant taste in the handmade cigar space.”
